IN COLETTE’S WORKSHOPS SHE DRAWS ON A NUMBER OF MOVEMENT AND SOMATIC PRACTICES AS A WARM UP FOR LATER  DEVELOPING TOOLS AND TASKS FOR IMPROVISATION AND COMPOSITION LINKED TO THE DRAMATURGICAL CONCERNS OF IN HER RECENT WORKS. UNDER THE SUBHEADING “ POST HUMAN FICTION “ SHE SEEKS IN THIS WORKSHOP TO PROBE THE POTENTIAL AROUND ARTIFICIALITY, THE DIGITAL BODY AND ROBOTIC PROSTHETICS IN RELATION TO CHOREOGRAPHY AND MOVEMENT RESEARCH.

COLETTE SADLER  TRAINED IN CLASSICAL BALLET FOLLOWED BY COMPLETING A BA (HONS)) AT THE LABAN CENTRE LONDON. A MEMBER OF TRANSITIONS DANCE COMPANY ´95 SHE WORKED INTERNATIONALLY AS A DANCER FOR CHOREOGRAPHERS  INCLUDING , LIZ AGGISS , JEREMY JAMES AND VICENTE SAEZ AMONGST OTHERS. SINCE 2006 SADLER’S PERFORMANCE WORKS HAVE BEEN SHOWN IN NUMEROUS DANCE AND VISUAL ARTS CONTEXTS INCLUDING AT KAAI THEATRE BRUSSELS, IMPULSTANZ VIENNA,SOUTH BANK CENTRE ,CENTRAAL MUSEUM UTRECHT , NOTTINGHAM CONTEMPORARY (ALONGSIDE THE BRITISH ART SHOW)) LES LATTITUDES CONTEMPORAINS FRANCE AND AS PART OF THE BRITISH COUNCIL SHOWCASE 2019. IN 2018 SHE CREATED RITUALIA FOR SCOTTISH DANCE THEARE AND MADE THE FLM INSTALLATION BODY A IN COLLABORATION WITH MIKKO GAESTEL PRESENTED AT ART NIGHT LONDON. IN 2016 SHE CURATED THE FIRST EDITION OF A MULTI--DISCIPLINARY ARTS SYMPOSIUM EVENT “FICTIONAL MATTERS”” AT THE CENTRE OF CONTEMPORAY ART GLASGOW. A SECOND EDITION “PRESENT FUTURES”” TOOK PLACE IN BERLIN AND GLASGOW IN 2019.  IN 2019 HER LATEST WORK TEMPORARY STORE PREMIERED FEB 2019 AT SOPHIENSAELE BERLIN AND AS PART OF DIG TRAMWAY.  SHE ALSO CREATED THE CHOREOGRAPHY FOR FUTURELAND A PERFORMANCE BY LOLA ARIAS FOR MAXIM GORKI THEATRE.  SHE IS CURRENTLY COLLABORATING WITH KINGS COLLEGE LONDON CENTRE OF ROBOTICS RESEARCH.
